PKB termasuk partai yang beruntung dalam gelaran Pilpres selama dua periode berturut-turut, yakni 2014 - 2019. Karna pada dua putaran Pilpres tersebut PKB selalu bersama koalisi partai yang memenangkan pertarungan politik. Dan tentu saja setiap partai pemenang pasti akan mendapatkan keuntungan politik pada pemerintahan, berupa jabatan-jabatan strategis.
Bersama NU dan Muslimat , PKB mendapat setidaknya 5 jatah kursi menteri pasca Pilpres 2014. Diantaranya adalah Menpora, Mendesa , Mensos, Menaker dan Mendikti.
Tidak tau, keberhasilannya bersama Jokowi di Pilpres 2019 ini akan mendapat berapa kursi menteri. Namun setidaknya, Cak Imin sebagai Ketum PKB pernah bilang ingin 10 menterti. Mungkinkah ?
Lepas dari berapa kursi yang akan didapat PKB, secara tegas , jabatan Menpora tidak dikehendakinya lagi. Alasannya kursi menteri itu lebih cocok untuk orang milenial.
Sebagaimana CNN Indonesia melaporkan, Wakil Sekjen Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) Daniel Johan mengaku partainya tak lagi mengincar posisi Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga(Menpora) di pemerintahan periode kedua Joko Widodo.
Sebelumnya, pos Kemenpora diisi oleh Imam Nahrawi, yang merupakan politikus PKB.
"Menpora biar dikasih ke generasi milenial lah," kata Daniel dalam diskusi di bilangan Menteng, Jakarta, Sabtu (6/7) dikutip CNN Indonesia.
Tak hanya kursi Menpora, PKB diakui Dahnil tak terlalu berharap banyak untuk kursi Menteri Agama yang kini diisi oleh politikus Partai Pembangunan Persatuan (PPP) Lukman Hakim Saifuddin. Sama seperti Imam, Lukman juga kini disibukkan menjadi saksi di KPK dalam kasus suap pengisian jabatan di Kemenag.
PKB, imbuh Dahnil, ingin berkontribusi di pemerintahan selanjutnya dalam bidang pendidikan dan ekonomi masyarakat. Dua aspek tersebut menjadi agenda PKB yang diutamakan.
Daniel mengamini bahwa sejauh ini APBN untuk pendidikan sudah sangat besar. Akan tetapi, Daniel menilai anggaran yang besar perlu dikelola dan digunakan lebih efektif di pemerintahan selanjutnya.
Untuk itu, Daniel mengatakan PKB akan bersyukur jika Jokowi memberikan kursi Menteri Pendidikan. PKB, lanjutnya, bakal berupaya sebaik mungkin untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan anggaran yang ada.
